Back to her brood: Gwyneth Paltrow jets back to her family after spending wedding anniversary in Dubai without Chris Martin

She recently admitted that her marriage to Chris Martin can be challenging and she spent their wedding anniversary alone in Dubai for work.
So it's no surprise that Gwyneth Paltrow looked delighted as she returned to the UK on Friday.
The 40-year-old actress grinned from ear-to-ear as she arrived at Heathrow, clearly looking forward to seeing her children again and perhaps having a belated celebration with her husband.

Dressed in a deep red pea coat, the actress looked like she was getting into the festive spirit as a she landed in cold England.

 

She completed her stylish look with a pair of slim fitting jeans and what appeared to be a simple black top.
She jazzed up her look with a couple of large necklaces and a pair of sparkly looking ankle boots.

Her blonde hair was swept off her face and she wore a pair of black RayBans.
Gwyneth was returning from Dubai where she was promoting Hugo Boss at the Boss Nuit at the Paris Gallery.
According to sources the pair had celebrated their wedding anniversary before she flew out for the job, which is perhaps why she didn't look too down in the dumps.

In an interview with InStyle magazine when asked what the most difficult part of being married to Chris, 35, she replied: 'Probably our artistic temperaments together. Artists are sensitive; there are ups and downs, mood-wise. Musicians need a certain gravitas and focus in order to write.'
She also admitted there was perhaps one thing missing from their marriage - another baby.
Gwyneth, who is already mother to Apple, 8, and Moses, 6, hinted that she may not be done with being a childbirth.

'My brain says, "Oh, I think I’m done, the kids are big now and I don’t want to go back to changing diapers". But a part of me would love to have another. Of course, I’m old now!', she said.
She explained: 'When Apple was born, she had the hugest blue eyes. I looked into them and she was looking at me, and I felt like, "You are here to teach me everything".

'After Moses was born, I had postpartum depression. It was a difficult time and because of that, I believe I have an extra empathy for him and he for me.'
